she a wilted rose
he a red moon just over the horizon
wrapped and twisted together
an endless twine of body and mind
hands here teeth there
stars burn in the black
rain falls on the bare trees
there is life in the night
dark soul
pitted minds
scattered memories
there is cold in the sun
hate in all love
betrayal in friendship
fall away
one is two
roses are red
the moon is new
tears land on dry cracked ground
