staring out the window into the unknown
unsure of decisions i've yet to make
uneasiness settles in, nervous twitches
heart racing, beads of sweat
mad images flashing through my mind
i cannot control my nerves, i'm on end
fear has taken over me, twisting, strangling
a poisonous vine creeping through my soul

I agree this is so much like a panic attack!
Very clever use of words with the picture.
You have touched on what many have felt physically and emotionally, having felt this I can tell you your imagery is outstandingly true!!! sadly..

You describe, what I think is either a nervous breakdown or a panic attack, and it's done really well. There is a lot of visual imagery in this. I can just picture this scene perfectly.

incorporate the shadow-vines
and the way you portray fear as binding, constricting movement and breath....
love the last line...a poisonous vine slithering through the soul, into the very fibre of a person....so chilling.
