The night is young.

Us;

 vintage pastel

 and after

 a memory kept in
 photographic form,
                              We’re off...

Photobucket

               Two inquisitive souls
               collectively hunting the unknown.

               Losing ourselves to shadows,
               alleyways and monuments belonging
               to this scintillating city.

               Our tale
                            {To chance, to find together}
                            …voiced through only our actions
                                                                               delivered to curious ears,
                                                                               spread throughout the skies.

    "We're off..."
    To see the wizard perhaps? =D Love that you don't finish this line...YOU LEAVE ME HANGING!!

    "collectively hunting the unknown"
    Well...better than hunting deer.

    "delivered to curious ears"

    damn Cin.......WONDERFUL! I so wanted someone to use the first picture, as it is a favorite of mine. And you did splendidly!

    Us;>>>>firstly...OMG I love it. Blunt. perfect, Love that you didn't put something like

    'me and you'. "Us" is much more powerful. Makes a Solid statement. And, i LOVe the use of the semi colon, I have no idea why, but it just me made all flustered! It's so aesthetically appealing. I am going to tell you now, I'm going to be using it in my writes Also, the semi colon is cause for a stronger pause....just great

    vintage pastel>>>>>holy mother of hot salsa!! AHHH I LOVE this phrasing! You have

    NO idea how much i love it.

    and after
    a memory kept in
    photographic form,
    We’re off...>>> aww how cute...off to where, is the following question? Adventure? Love? Heartache? Oh the places you can go with this!!

    ~and then you answer it ~~

    Two inquisitive souls
    collectively hunting the unknown.>>>love that, they're a bonded pair.

    Losing ourselves to shadows,>>>>can be read SO SO many ways. Love it
    alleyways and monuments belonging
    to this scintillating city.>>>>>>>>>>>>great

    Our tale>>>>>>>> Awww.... i think of a Disney princess movie
    {To chance, to find together}
    …voiced through only our actions
    delivered to curious ears,
    spread throughout the skies.>>>.oh love, how it soars everywhere on blissful feathers.

    you've written expertly, a poem that capture love, in a So very non cliche way
    And the way that you utilized the two pictures is phenom ....they are seemingly unrelated, and you've integrated them perfectly.

    Thank you for entering my contest!

    and g'luck!

    S.P.

    That is pretty cool, using two pics within the poem. I am impressed at how well you joined the two. To me the photos seem quite different and not a likely pairing, but you matched them well in this union. Very nicely done, Cindy....

    Oh yes, I love what you did with this dear Cindy
    (I wish I could post two pics - but sadly not gold yet!! haha) Anyhow, you've done an amazing job using both pictures. Some of my favorite lines--

    "Us;
    Vintage pastel" and then using the words "we're off" as a setting for the next picture (brilliant!) Since the picture is somewhat like a roadsign, type... image.
    Then again in the next stanza my favs--

    "Two inquisitive souls
    collectively hunting the unknown."

    "scintillating city." Great description word! (I had to look it up by the way, but it is quite lovely as I had imagined it to be )

    I wish you all the best of luck! For this is amazingly beautiful
