Arise and Find

Missing image

Closing my eyes
even though, afraid.

I arise, bravely above
the dark paths, of past.

My lantern aglow
slowly I peek, glancing.

I find him, my constant.

Easing into him, like
my favorite pillow.

such a rich picture you draw our minds to here. "I find him, my constant. Easing into him, like my favorite pillow." - a sweet tender ending. very nicely done.

    Oh this is lovely!!!

    I arise, bravely above
the dark paths, of past.>>>>the past, can sometimes be a dark back-road....I love that you portray her as looking back ....on a darkened past.

I find him, my constant.>>>ah, a tale of love, the thing that keeps her sane, a catalyst, that causes change, but does not itself change

    Easing into him, like
my favorite pillow.>>>.aw, what a divine ending stanza, give me a warm snuggly feeling

like, I'm going off to a wonderful dream ...that I hope will never end

thank you for this, you 've looked beyond the picture and I always love that.

    thank you for entering!
    And g'luck!!

    S.P.
