I used to love you...
with everything I held inside.
I used to love you...
with feelings too deep
to hide.
I used to miss you...
every time you went away.
I used to beg and plead
for once just stay.
I used to cry painful tears
& hide behind walls and barriers
just to escape my fears.
I used to scream,
yell,
fight,
& bite
just to combat the hurt.
However, in the end you still manage
to make feel worse than a lowly pile of dirt.
I used to try to change me
just to please you
Instead I lost a piece of myself everyday,
in hopes of somehow gaining
a piece of you.
I love you too much to hate you
So now I'm saying goodbye.
