Birds know the secret
every morning
they sing to greet the gold
Men sleep
Flowers know the secret
petals open
faces turn to gold
Most men sleep
But a few
see the silver and gold
burst onto the Earth
we know
it is all
worthwhile

There is a striking lack of punctuation in this piece, but since you have used none at all, at least it is consistent.
A sunrise - you have said it all in your last stanza. As beautiful as a sunset, but much harder to catch.
A lovely entry. Thank you. ~Pamela

You, sir, are simply a marvelous poet. I adore this one. You need to find an agent. Love, Lane

Always amazed

My King of Rhyme over

But hey I know what your fans enjoy
So my request will be placed on the back burner
til further notice.
I shall wait somewhere for it
Love Passions
And you know as always you will do
alright in this contest any for that matter

No trure words were ever spaked! Most men sleep with the TV remote control in their hands. You do very well at free verse.
Love,
