Well! I pay my taxes to the government
No need to beg it ain't heaven sent
Gotta protect our interests on the money paid
Payin' thru the nose so the crazies won't invade
If you're a man of means then you gotta pay
if you don't then they'll only take it all away
It's a good investment on the stock exchange
For only ten percent down the rest can be arranged
Now you can be just like a high powered businessman
With a tower of glass so tall that's at your command
Drive a fancy car with a chauffeur at the wheel
And a bevy of women in your bed ready to make a deal
But the one thing's certain that you cannot buy
Is an extension to your lease when you're gonna die
All the money in the world ain't gonna save you anyhow
When the shadow man comes callin' with his sickle now
Well! I pay my taxes plus an interest charge
Make more money than a sailor on a garbage barge
Hell! I own it all and every blade of grass
Yeh, I own the lot I even own your ass
But the one thing certain that you cannot buy
Is an extension to your lease when you're gonna die
All the money in the world ain't gonna save you anyhow
When the shadow man comes callin' with his sickle now

Good
I like this alot! Theres a really good rythem to the piece that does not seem forced, it just moves at its own pace.
The actual content is an interesting one also. It seems the message is, it does not matter what you do in life, how much money you make, how great or famous or rich you are, we have all got to go in the end.
Each line leads welll onto the other and is really catchy, there is also a hint of humor in this piece, I especially like the line:
Hell! I own it all and every blade of grass
Yeh, I own the lot I even own your ass
Maybe to improve the piece, you could add a couple off commers and full stops, just to slow the pace down slightly so each line is appreciated by the reader.
Overall - very enjoyable -
It's a very nice song and I'd like to hear it for real.
The message is so true in this time and age.
Great job.
