Magnificent and bright
Jagged wonderful light
The darkness fills with white
Bringing day into the night
The sky appears to crack
Into two pieces of black
Only for it to go away
And bring that darkness back
Adrenaline is rushing
Heart beats are thumping
The thunder cracks are crushing
Rolling on top of nothing
Magnificent and bright

Blah I dunno, I haven't written a fresh poem for a contest in such a long time. I had a lot of good ideas but couldn't make them fit. I liked the image though very thought invoking.
