Presenting Grace

She is imprisioned by pain; by sadness and rage;
Entrapped. Her mind has become a guilded cage.
She has pushed those away who would set her free
Safely behind locked doors, can't they let her be?

To be left alone, is that what she really wants?
Left with her inner voices and their hollow taunts?
In truth she yearns for someone to set her free.
She has searches fruitlessly for that golden key.

All of these thoughts are hidden behind a flawless face.
What she presents to the world is beauty and grace.

    Great piece here

    I so try to understand why people when they are in such pain seems to push the ones trying to help them away . Prolonging this pain and yet within their minds are screaming for help and feeling no one cares . You have to let the ones so trying to help come in for the voices you so hide within your mind gets stronger everyday dont let those voices take you away .

    Very beautiful, isn't it true how someones beautiful face can be so deceptive, no one knows the agony that goes on in someones mind.

    I can feel the meaning deep within your words, and it's a terrible place for one to put themselves, though to often we do. Wonderfully done, thank you for entering.
