shut your eyes.
The Tooth Fairy will leave you
a little surprise.
She may leave a toy
from that vending machine,
or a shiny dollar
with a brand new sheen.
And to ensure you sleep
the whole night through,
a sprinkling of SWEET DREAMS dust
just for you.
Author notes
TOOTH FAIRY POEMS ~ Contest Entry ... I grew up with the Tooth Fairy giving quarters, it's gotten soo expensive now in the last 25 years! I saw a cartoon called Ruby Gloom and she told her friend Scardy Bat that the tooth fairy would bring him a trinket. One can get trinkets from cheap vending machines from 25 cents up to 2 dollars. or you can make them from crafts.
