I lie still and listen to you as you breathe, the rhythm is soothing and hypnotic and before long I find myself drifting away.
As I close my eyes you are already there looking at me as sweetly as you do. Your bright eyes engulf me in to their sea of blue.
You smile so warmly that it melts all my worries from the day away.
Soon I feel your arms as you wrap them around me and pull me close into you.
Inhaling I smell a mixture of the cologne that you put on this morning and you, smiling now because to me there is no safer place in the world than right there in your arms.
Listening to your heart beat there is no other sound I hear until you softly mutter I love you. Hesitantly I open my eyes, and let out a soft and relieved sigh, no you are not just a dream but a dream come true.
I snuggle in closer to you and close my eyes as I listen to you breathe.
