Very nice rhyme & way of introducing a parent to a prospective baby name. There is a tavern near here called Rossle with a golden horse in it. I guess the old German Ross means something like a knight's steed -like destrier; it's not the normal name for a horse or even a stallion, yet it sounds so much like the English "horse" when you think about it.
