The Bridge Between Souls

A bridge was shared between two worlds
Between yours and mine
I travelled into your world
To understand who you were
And to unite two worlds as one
My first visits wrapped me with love and welcome
By your humble smile and comfort of your arms
But as these visits became frequent
So became the battles in my world
Between whom I was as ruler
And I subservient to you
When I chose to serve you
You locked me away in the prison of your eyes
All my strength were encircled around your fingers
Although I was so weak to barely feel my heart
You saw burning drops pouring through my eyes
My plea to be free
To return to my world where I reside
You held my face while holding my eyes
Healing as many wounds that were in my soul
Though the soft ice were dropping from the sky
You carried me along the bridge
Uttering words I could not understand
For my energy was nearly gone
You laid me down on the ground of my land
And pressed your lips unto mine
Only to have me wake up to see the bridge still there
As I began to feel my legs
I closed my eyes to feel the bridge
To regained all my inner lost
And stretching out my hand
The bridge was gone
And so were your eyes
I am finally home where I reside
