Just a pillow is all most would have known
But they don't know the love you've shown
Held so tight in my arms everynight
You'd protect me till the morning light
When ever they would come in
You took the pain away my friend
Thank you for all you've done for me
You became more then you were meant to be
My best friend
I loved you till the end
When on one very sad day
I washed you and you faded away
Jennifer is your name
Life with you inside is not all the same
As when you were my protector everynight
Now I hide you far away out of their sight
I owe you so much
From all those hands that touched
Us both every night
Thanks for protecting me till mornings light

Oh what a tribute of comfort received from something that may seem unimportant to others. I wasn't a blankie child but my other siblings were. Comfort comes in many forms and I really enjoyed this. I'm glad you had Jennifer. Good luck.
