Talk and take time;
be it no crime.
Some things said and some things heard
but, by far, the actions being the absurd.
Walk a straight line;
oh, and to the ground you climb.
Many things felt and a few things shared
but, in uttermost, the actions couldn't be bared.
Okay tourniquet;
another time today.
A fling with a sting
and a heart for a high.
For another time today, he says goodbye.

fling with a sting and a heart for a high. That's a great line. I love enternal rhyme, and that would be a great couplet to throw into the middle of a totally free verse piece. But overall, the fact this rhymed in totality almost escaped me, because it had a rather beatnick feel to it, and moved well without being obvious. I'm diggin' it

Sometimes we feel things that are not really that painful and other times we dont feel the really painful things...its a game we play and never understand, things are bad they often get better, things are good they often go bad, there is no fine line of life, we get bumped and bruised and in the end we feel it....but each day gets easier and we grow and learn from our mistakes, there isnt anything you or I havent gone through that people before us went through and survived, we are our own worse enemies at times, how harshly we judge ourselfs. Enjoyed this made me thankful for all good things and reminded me that each of us are only one life event away from the other side....take care and keep safe
