I am only as strong as the armour that makes me stand tall
Find the right latch and it falls off in pieces
Weakness is all that is left; my rubbery being collapses
Find the right latch and it falls off in pieces
Weakness is all that is left; my rubbery being collapses
Author notes
I tried to work more on imagery with this one...just how important my defense is. I need that facade to help me stand tall. Poetry seems to be that latch that shows my weakness...I collapse and let emotions, tears, and thoughts spill out of me. Sometimes we need that armour to hold us up.

You have more than armour to hold you up...you have him.
This is a really good short poem...all I can imagine is a knights armour and the detail of it as it's being put on and shattered. Every armour has a kink...but the one in yours isn't necessarily a bad thing. Keep writing...always
