Chests pressed together; hearts beating as one
Head resting on your shoulder; breathing in your sweet smell
Arms folded around each other; connect like pieces of a puzzle
Safety in a tight embrace
Author notes
I'm not very good at writing shorter poems so I thought I'd start off with a typical one and see how it worked out. Thoughts?

Very eloquent and beautiful language. Such vivid imagery and emotion. And the tone is so tranquil and soft. A sort of scene, in my mind, was created, one of warmth and depth; very calming. I especially loved the last line. Such power and serenity in a physical embrace, one that evokes such depth and meaning, a very potent element that makes up love, compassion, caring, and understanding…there is so much beauty and power to such an embrace as I feel from this piece, and such ability to shield from pain and agony, to find refuge and bliss in the arms of someone who deeply cares, a very eloquent and gorgeous bond shone metaphorically through “arms folded around each other”…Oh yes, definitely a delight of a write, very well done!!!

Oh what a wonderful description of a hug. Yes hugs make people feel content.

It's Good
I like it a lot...short poems are bolder...less explanation but everything hits you in the face. This was a good choice for a poem too...makes me wanna hug a special someone myself...try some more short ones...this is a very good start...cute...somewhere where you're always safe.
