The electron must be quantized.
As at the time of the beginning of the big bang,
the universe was much smaller than an electron in size.
A universe existing in parallel states.
Like, Schrodinger's cat, both being asleep and awake.
Existing in a probabilistic wave.
A new life, the universe gave.
Continuing to expand in size.
Creating along with it, multiple quantum lives.

Michico Kaku was on Coast to Coast last night...speaking of the same things! Sychronicity????
Thanks for a great entry!
Best wishes in the contest and always...write on!

Thank you for reading and commenting. synchronicity, maybe so.

Michio Kaku wrote great books. I've really only read Physics of the Impossible and a book of his about time warps, though.
Thanks also for being supportive.

Wonderful
Very creative and so well done. Best of luck in the contest.

Thanks. Most of these quantum physics, cosmology, philosophy poems take some time to read up on before I start to write them, so I appreciate you reading these poems.

And, we became the children of stars, the descendants of original matter, yet so much more complex as we are universes to other life forms..and so on. Very insightful work Haley. That's why I come here.

Thanks, Sis. Wow, you have really made your rounds with my poems lately. Much appreciated.

I'm glad you come here to read my poems, part of why I come here too, to share my thoughts with everyone and hope to provoke some thought in return.

This is brilliant sis! This poem like the cat is a paradox lLikeThe Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. So that the state of every particle is described by a wavefunction, which is a mathematical representation used to calculate the probability for it to be found in a location, or state of motion. In effect, the act of measurement causes the calculated set of probabilities to "collapse" to the value defined by the measurement. This feature of the mathematical representations is known as wavefunction collapse and you did it all in a poem.

Thanks, Amera. I can't exactly do this without doing the research first, though. What can I say? My mind works in mysterious ways.

Interesting
This was delightful. It made me see physics in a different light, unlike the boring class in my high school. It's interesting and mysterious, this universe.

-
-
Thanks. Yeah, I usually saw physics as really boring in science classes in high school. I find that teachers in high school focused too much on formulas and the boring basics of it, you know? While, the science books that people can read by Hawking and Lederman and other physicists are much more interesting and thought provoking. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for entering my contest!

You're welcome. I've been writing this style for a few years now, so any time I get the muse to write a poem, I enjoy writing it. Thanks for reading.

Deep indeed lil sis.
You have a Passion to go beyond and it's very inspiring if I must say. Keep doing you, and I will be here as well to cheer you on
All the best

Thanks, Sis. I appreciate you always being supportive.

Yeah, space and reincarnation and the quest for truth tends to be what I aim for in life. Sometimes when I pick up another science book I wonder what mysterious thing I will discover next. I think the universe can answer every question we have, but we just need to have the patience to search for those answers. Thanks for the comment.

Yea, I agree with the thinking on this write. The universe continues to expand and the big bang theory. Thanks for sharing Haley and keep writing.

Thanks, Charley. Yeah, this idea actually goes back quite a few years. Quite awhile ago, I was part of a reincarnation forum and was discussing with them about multiple lives, but I think I just confused people with that stuff, as a lot of the people I talked to thought of time as very linear. If it hadn't been for that place though, I wouldn't have heard of quantum physics in the first place. It took me until the summer of 2005 though to read a brief history of time and then started searching for more answers causing me to write more poetry in the process. Always appreciate your comments. Thanks for stopping by.

This is a write. It's based on info I read in the book.
I put it into my own words to make it into a poem. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Tasha, Good luck with getting more sleep. Hope your summer is going well.
