We've waited a long, long time
The sun now shines much brighter
and the bells have a mellow chime
The long days now are shorter
The restless nights serene
My eyes are free from teardrops
The floral all filled with green
I knew the moment I saw you
There could be no other for me
Life would now have the meaning
That destiny had hoped it to be
The joy and all the happiness
Fill a void that I have held
Loneliness no longer a problem
A problem so long I have quelled
