Night love.

Come with me tonight
walk under the moon light.
Let us pretend to be,
young lovers, you and me.
Walk by my side,
I will be your guide.
My arms around your waist,
my heart beating fast,
this is the moment I want to last.
All alone just us two,
I want to if only you do too.
The universe is ours to hold,
come closer, we can reach our goal.
The stars and moon are closer too,
I have the feeling,
they are watching over you.
As your breathing now subsides,
I hold you tight,
our only witness,tonight
was the sky at night.

This is a great romantic poem, sweet and simple, yet very pleasing. I really liked it alot. I would love it if a significant other wrote a poem like this for me, it's really nice. Thanks for entering.

Thank you, for your comments, this poem I wrote, with my muse in mind,as she is the one who got me writing again , after not even thinking about poetry for many years. Best wishes Carl.
