Blur

Life, love, cruelty and death
Why rest upon my shoulders?
Snickers, laughs, smiles of gluttony
Insects you are, crawling poisoned
Strangling
Your faces blur as you race on past
Ignorant and self absorbed fools
Thinking so much of a person so weak
Emotional death upon your door
You do not deserve to look in my eyes
Not even to say you're sorry
None of you would be man enough
Not even to serve your egos
So leave, you destructive maggots of hate
I do not belong in your blinded world
I stand alone
And am glad

Author notes

This is the first poem I've written for allpoetry in nearly eighteen months and A LOT has changed. This poem is basically about no belonging with the group of idiots who give me and my bf hell.

    True and Understandable

    Thought provoking.

I can sense the anger AND the feeling of
non-acceptance. You joined both the options together quite nicely, for that I congratulate you.

    One suggestion,
Perhaps the last line doesnt fit all to well, or maybe it just doesnt sound finished when you end with "and am glad" I personally think you might need to add just a little more at the end to touch it up and leave the reader thinking or feeling.

thanks for entering i appreciate it
