When we fell in love, our hearts turned into a child's heart but the clues were so clear
We were so naive and young but our hearts clash was so severe
We hit each others heart with a dart
yet we hid it from each other just like a child's heart
So naive we were
we were so close, yet so distant
it felt like what we had was nonexistent
So young we were
we knew nothing of what we were feeling
which made every effort we had very unappealing
When we fell in love, our hearts turned into a child's heart
we're so far now and I hate it so much
I know now that I love you so much
And I know that you feel the same, ever since the day we fell in love
But its far too late
We fell in love but our child like heart pulled us apart
The damage we made to our hearts hid inside of us
Your gone now
We'll never have another chance to share each others love
All because we couldn't confess our love
and this wouldn't have happened if our hearts hadn't turned into a child's heart
when we fell in love

The scenario of the thought here is so universal and so true bringing the depth into the prompt..well done...

I like the idea behind this and mostly the execution was nice but I thought you repeated the 'child like heart' too much. I think if you go over this with the idea of making it clearer you can improve it, but don't get disheartened, what you have is a great seed of an idea.
