Hello my dearest daughter, I've just returned to say
I'm with you every moment and listen when you pray
My body may be silent but in my soul I sing
On earth I lived in winter, whilst here I walk in Spring.
I gaze upon a seashore where skylarks sing their tune
Whilst angel clouds are dancing around an Azure moon
Someone I see is waiting, I see him in the light
He's come to take me homeward to be with him tonight.
So do not weep my dearest, this time I have to go
One day your soul will follow, to find this hidden glow
Words cannot tell the feeling of love that carries me
My body was my anchor and now my soul flies free.
I'm starting on a journey, it's called infinity
I'll be close by in spirit so just call out to me
My mother ship is waiting to sail to Heaven's shore
Where pain is non- existant and peace floats evermore.

Love this. Heck, have you written anything I /don't/ like? The first two verses here are particularly strong. Just love the imagery and the comfort offered in these words.

Hello. This is a very touching write, which rightly points out that although painful, it is only our vessel that dies, but the real us, lives for eternity. I wish you well in this contest. My regards.
