Hello ther eim a judge with the contest stated above and any ways this is a very interesting poem. I find your poem to be quite well penned and very short n sweet. it would feel like as if lovers are embracing one another in the middle of nature afte rbeinga way from eahc other for so long then again it could merley be a simple perosn lost and stranded in the woods and well curling up and cuddling with a bear LOL! any ways nice poem and good luck in the contest

Well, you know me, I am a literalist. It seemed to me that it was love making on a camping trip, or at least those are the memories your poem brought up.

    Great job.

Thanks for your comments; compliment and applause. I do appreciate them. Your interpretation is fine, although it's not quite what I had in mind, when I wrote this.

I didnt figure it was, but as a literalist, and a camper, not yet fueled by morning coffee, that is what I came up with.

Vertical we are one, plunging out of the womb of zero to end in a minus, the fallen tree, cleaved, uprooting would be personal. Very concise word choice. All feels a little cold and missing how messy it all is.
    Love, Tom B.

  • Good.

Reminds me of the poetry that Appoloinaire used to write way back in the 1900s in France and I love the unflowing of it like a flower opening. Yes, good, very good.

I could have used a little more detail in the middle part but the beginning and the end of the story was adequate to light the fires of my imagination.

    Sincerely,
