For the first time
the cherry popped,
the sky sang as the sunset
overhead but we didn't see it then.
For the first time
anger flared
it's ugly head threatening to tear and hurt,
but we still loved through it then.
For the first time
we kissed in secret
when no one was looking and linen sheets
trembled under excited breath
we were so green back then.
For the first time,
we were forced apart.
Distance a hurdle, time a vault,
the never-ending 100 meter dash
and us with no athletic skills then.
For the last time,
we'll walk together
step in step, a unified rhythm
but instead, bus wheels take my harmony,
and you walk another way now.

You know what, I actually prefer free verse now..... Theres more expression in it because you don't have to obey the rhyming scheme

I Liked This One..... Well actually.... I like most of yours Lol
This is now pretty much using up characters so I get some extra points haha..... I never actually use my points so when I get to 350 i'll give them to you
