A Time Lords Grief

Hello, I am the Doctor,
I am alone,
my destiny.

Companions do not stay,
fear saps strength,
they weaken.

This time on my hands,
my solo burden,
my Shackles.

At night I always dream,
resting in peace,
upon Galifrey.

Author notes

I was wondering how he might feel, and how much time he actually has companionship. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things I think
This was a quick write, so if it smells , apologies.

Well, this is very abstract - and that I LIKE! Love the background, though it is a bit hard to read and focus on the words.. it's still pretty groovy It sort of reminds me of 'Bill and Tedds bogus journey' lol! Anyhow - Great write from and amazing imagination!

I love the background... Planets, space... the TARDIS. I've never read a poem about the doctor, but this piece is sad and you can really feel the Doctor's loneliness when he doesn't have a companion with him.
