When love perched on me
came like a raven upon the tree
His love flew me in a reverie
soft like rain on the sea
swayed the blue upon the sky
and the air to dream in ecstasy
ease that came with breeze
I loved him to much
but did I ever love once!...
I loved him to much
but have I ever love...

I will say first off all things aside, you did a great job with the color scheme to match your poem. I say that because it makes it flow in the mind easier.
Other than that I find it interesting that the whole poem pretty much works on this line. "His love flew me in a reverie", as has as I note that is. It is what draws my attention and seems to tie it together.
Best of luck in the contest. Also to your future writes.

You did a wonderful job!!! This flowed so well! and the image was sad yet thoughtful! You really put a lot of emotion into this write and it shows in the feel of the words.. I really loved this.. It was soft yet the metaphors really set it off well.. You did beautifully!! I wish you the best of luck!

Interesting
Reminds me of someone I knew...she never loved before until she met me and she fought with herself if it was really love; finally we both realized that it was. It had to be cut short and maybe it wasn't true love because she doesn't feel it anymore but...love nonetheless. Interesting read with a sort of personification in the form of a raven...unique structure as well. Enjoyable read that makes you think. 8/10! -
I love the four rhyme poetry line. Very lovely, and the feeling you get from the raven is that it is all a great mystery ready to be found out. Ecstacy is a brilliant and beautiful blue word, very good job.

Great piece here Classical. I think you may mean "I loved him too much" instead of 'to much'. This reads great. I like the rhyme and language.
