How do you define distance?
The miles and state lines between 2 people, or the closeness of their hearts
I feel closer to you than I feel to someone standing right beside me
Time zones, miles, oceans mean nothing as long as I have you
Everything I do, I can feel you here with me
Laying in bed at night I close my eyes and try to picture the sound of your heart beating with mine
The warmness of your body holding me close
Passion that comes with each kiss you plant upon these lips
The truth in your words
The first time we meet, the second we make eye contact, that first smile shared
All these things that I cant wait to experience
I feel just as close seeing your face light up my computer screen
When your number pops up on my phone and I answer to hear your voice on the other end
Each simple 3 word sentence that is typed to me
Now once again can I ask, how do you define distance?

    How Ironic that this is my life right now? Defined by distance? We don't even know what distance is...because physically yes we are apart...but emotionally, we are pretty tied together;

    Wow, so deep and thought provoking...wish I knew the answers myself! I know she feels me everyday, the same way I feel too. Distance isn't easily defined...I don't think me and her have a clue either lol.

    A very sweet piece, me and her will never forget each other and always wonder; let's see if it holds. 8/10!
