String after string,
chord after chord,
I hit the note that,
I'm looking for,
Rhythm after Rhythm,
beat after beat,
Keep on strumming,
Feel the heat,
This passion,
will not go far,
But as I sing,
Clutching my guitar,
How could I not,
Succeed- I'm lost,
In a beat that will never stop?
Laughing along,
With my friends,
About the songs,
That we'll never end,
Lyric after lyric,
Song after song,
Don't make me stop,
I'm not that strong.
'Cos I'm just a sad song,
With nothing to say,
End the note- It's too long,
Forget, anyway,
And if you think that I'm wrong,
That our songs never meant nothing to you-
Then it's your heart that's not true.

I enjoyed reading this, I instantly had the picture of a guitar in my mind as I read the first two lines. Then, I saw a group of friends together laughing and listening to you play.
What amazed me more is not only did you write about your guitar but also about who you love. As if the guitar speaks your feelings. Nice job.
Overall you've penned a fun and pleasing piece! I really enjoyed reading it.
Thanks for entering the 'Passions' contest, it was my pleasure to read your work. I hope you had a fun penning and the best of luck to you.

that was... beautiful. I understand the feelings, the love of music and never wanting it to stop or feel like it won't. That is what happens to me when I am caught up in it. You truly have a passion for this.
