Heart turned desert
Each beat kicking storm,
Bringing green down
Oasis passes by,
Time took me by hand,
Sweet moment spring up
Submerge in succession of struggle
Marching in caravan,
Dipping into thoughts,
For a thing I did not miss,
Vast desert never blooms
I turned arid
Toying what I lack,
Tout what I am not,
Masking real ever

"Heart turned desert
Each beat kicking storm," that is my favorite piece
oh and this "Oasis passes by,
Time took me by hand,
Sweet moment spring up
Submerge in succession of struggle."
JUST so sweet.....yes yes yes, very sweet.
I feel the emotion in these.

Marching in caravan,
Dipping into thoughts,
For a thing I did not miss,
Vast desert never blooms
I turned arid
Toying what I lack,
Tout what I am not,
Masking real ever
These two verses
I want to credit you further.
I feel this over-powering masculinity in those, but also they bear this taste of tenderness, of vulnerability, a feeling often not expressed by men. Your so well expressed...I can't clarify how I've been affected, only that I’ve found it INCREDIBLE.

This is such a great read. I can totally relate to this, sometimes we do feel like we are wandering around in a huge desert not really knowing we were are going. Well done for this and all the best for the contest.

WONDERFUL!!!
I find myself often wandering aimlessly around much like one would wandering in a vast, empty desert.

This was a really interesting read..
But for some reason it just didn't
connect with me on a poetic level..
that could just be me though..
Best of luck with the contest..
