looking in this mirror
seeing betrayal

Those eyes such innocents?
mistakes made with a smile
who looks beyond flaws

If shown the grim reality
behind, eyes wicked way
strains to find good
What was thought acceptable?
Years of sexual wrongness
should have said no
Pictures taken in weakness
should have said no
Drug use escapism
should have said no
Taking the mask off now
seeing who was in the reflection

as i said many times, especially when you opened up to me, i'm not going anywhere. you are the bride of my soul, by your side is where i belong.
you are correct, NO ONE has any power over you. if the only thing someone can do is try to embarrass you because of choices you've made, your confession takes away the only leg they can stand on. what's more, you're a New Creation and God has already forgiven you, so there is no power in the shadows anyway.
