If I could just assimilate
and still remain unique
what couldn’t I become,
what couldn’t I defeat?
I could make an entrance anywhere
fashionably appropriate,
fashionably complete.
I would introduce myself
and then cajole the guests.
I would say, “Have you all
become your own clichés?”
And then you would say,
“He’s so perfect,
so much like one of us
and yet he’s so unique.”
Please tell me what you think

Social predation mimicry. Emotional grazing, thinks I.
