Depressions like a winged horse with no where to fly
An American flag being burned in Iraq
and a great old tree when it meets a metal saw
Depressioins like a honey bee deprived form it's roses
A wipe when it catches a brave slaves back
And a flower caught in a hurrican
But then a breakthrough, and what once was is now the past
Life goes on and happiness grows
The horse finds clear sky
And the flag discovers peace
The saw retirees for it knows what will be damaged
Then the flowers blooms , and the bee feeds it's sisters
The slave is finally freed
And the hurrican subsides to great the new life of nature
When everything is saved
The world looks back and sees
That depression had amost claimed
Another victory

Wonderfully written! I bet your mom loved this poem!
I loved it too! Yes, there are some spelling errors...but when you post it, there is a "spellchecker" in the poem posting format that could help you a lot! You could check it out next time you post a poem or click on the "edit" of an old poem and use the spell check on all your old poems too! It helps me a lot beings I'm a pretty bad speller also!
Your poems are simply wonderful, I think you have great talent!!!!
Bravo!
