Goodbye

Words unsaid, tears not cried,
Never again shall we say goodbye.

A relationship that I came to cherish,
Will now unfortunately perish.

Yet in our hearts it will live on,
This friendship is not fully gone.

Until the day we may meet again,
I will try to diminish the pain.

When we meet and rise above,
Stronger will become our love.

As long as our memories are strong,
I shall know we were not wrong.

Looking back, my thoughts alone,
Memories only keeping them sewn.
