Writers Block

All these words in my head,
Just won’t go on the page.
They swim around in vicious circles,
They just won’t slow down.

All these words in my head,
Just won’t go into form.
They sound oh so good,
But they make no sense at all.

All these words in my head,
Could become so beautiful.
If only I could grasp them,
For just a few moments.

All these words in my head,
Are just drifting away from me.
One moment they were there,
But now they’re gone.

    Good

Welcome to the entity of my entire life. My thoughts are always buzzing around barly legable to anybody else except to me. So even if I come up with the most genious of plans I cannot express it so I am still called as an Idiot. And when I manage to explain part of it my rememberance of being an Idiot prevents the idea from going anywhere.
This is a very well written poem that explains this kind of behaviour that is found in all humans but is often underestimated. Very well done. Don't change a thing in this poem

    Nice!

There is something which is sometimes difficult about finding the right words to describe exactly what floats around in the head... when you are writing, it's a translation from head to paper where others can read it. Write it anyway even if it doesn't make sense to you at that moment. Maybe it will make a lot of sense to someone else.

I don't think there's not one person on this site that hasn't had to deal with writer's block!! The funny thing is... I've written a poem about it too. It's so darn frustrating when the words are there, but your head isn't communicating with your fingers very well.

This poem would have been the end of that writer's block Good job on the write!

    Beautiful

It's always good to write about how you don't know what to say. Very brilliant

Great poem SadLittleKitten. Writer's block can be so infuriating. Great write though, I like the way each stanza starts with 'All these words in my head'; it's like you're explaining all the different problems that come with such wonderful words just floating in your head. Do you get me? Great poem once again
    best wishes as always

I know how this feels, sooo much.
I always feel like I have these ideas in my head/heart
but I just can't get them out,
because I feel like they won't do justice to what I'm thinking.
    you captured that feeling wonderfully.

    Lovely :)

I think this really highlights the struggle all of us writers have when attempting to translate our visions into words.

    Beautiful!

Very well written and such an irony that you wrote a 4 stanza poem with writers block.
I have a similar one called 'Insomniac's Lyric' check it out!
