this sounds like someone is deathly afraid of the writer and needs some serious reassurance. then thing about that is that if that were the case, the one afraid probably would not be assured with words. only time and proof of actions no longer violent would prove that. perhaps the fear would never be removed but could lessen with time? or perhaps a miracle could occur and presto--no more fear. would be nice for the one scared.
