Numb and cold, it's hard to breath,
I walk this path of falling debris.
My world has crumbled around me,
These tears make it so hard to see.
Hate and pain, regret and sorrow,
Fill my heart to the endless 'morrow.
The darkness covers my body whole,
No longer able to call you my own.
Take the shades of past away,
Colour my world this emotional grey.
Life may be given to this young girl,
Everything, I suppose, is what I deserve.
I'm forced to walk this world alone,
Due to the foolish mistakes now shown.
All I ask is for you to take it away,
Erase these two; just end it today...

Thank you for entering my contest. I love that this poem is on a subject that is so true to your heart. I feel that poetry inspired from real life has a geniune aspect that you just can't fake. Deeply sorry for which ever explination is behind this poem.. Great write and good luck
