I didn't ask for your opinion
-you gave it bluntly-.
I asked for an explanation
-you said you didn't need one-.
I wish I could tell you to practice what you preach
but I always leave well enough alone
I won't listen to your foolish speech
chances at forgiveness have already been blown
I don't know how to tell you
this is my life
-not a chance to relive yours-
I'll make my mistakes, accepting consequences,
I'll pick my own battles and fight my own wars
I'm free to believe what I please.
Now I'm old enough to think
to stand on my two feet.

You take your shit, I'll take mine- but I wont take yours."
