Explosions of colour the painter considers are rage
Are all called art
The chef who can conjure new flavours from sesame seed
The teacher who teaches unteachable children to read
The doctor who rescues the starving from terrible need
All know their art
The painting of life that you saw on a stately home wall
The Mozart concerto you heard at the Old Albert Hall
The ballet you watched as a child and you hoped they would fall
Three types of art
This poem I'm writing so readers can see what I do
The words that I conjure to cure me when I'm feeling blue
Are letters of love that I'm dreaming I'm sending to you
