I’ve got indescribable possibilities and emotions that I can’t admit
Here I hold a tainted microphone containing a guarded secret
But maybe I’m trying too hard to grasp for forgiveness
So I speak the words I promised myself I’d never speak.
If I live my life pushing what I want away
An ignorance and selfishness is all my eyes will portray
If I were to take a chance and open the doors of fate

Surviving the worst, we give ourselves a pat on the back
Recovering the lost strength and getting our lives back on track
But maybe the strength we search for; is taking a step out into the real world

I think most of us have a "tainted microphone" full of things we don't want to say or reveal

I like the bit about the tainted microphone, the word use is inspired in that bit and I can think of several ways to use the tainted microphone image, watch out for stealers.

I'm amazed of how it's all combined together and make such a beautiful piece...being denial and oblivious to everything around us just so there's nothing can hold us back...hiding away your true self just so you can't get hurt anymore then it's already is...this is indeed a beautiful written lyric..thank you for entering my contest
