Deep inside me
I often wonder
Why oh why it is
So many people get hurt.
I often think to myself
Why is it so
Many bad things occur
When there's never any reason
or cause for it?
I sometimes wonder
Why it is in life
People can be so cold,
So cruel and so vicious
When no one has been cold
Or cruel or vicious to them.
I often start thinking
As to why it is
So many people need to believe
One person's race or religion
Is better than the rest.
I often sometimes wonder
What it would be like
If all these terrible things ended
And there was no such thing
As war, violence, hate or bigotry.
I often start thinking
About the positive side of life
Excelling around loving each other;
Warmth and tenderness
To every level
Of being a compassionate person.
Never in my life
Have I not stopped
To think about times
I've suffered and cried.
Never once at all
Have I stopped to imagine
What the world would be like
With no violence or danger.
I often, often
Deeply deeply wonder.

I think about this too daddy the world id full of pain it makes me sad

That makes two of us sweetheart. All we can do is live life to the fullest by being the best we can be for ourselves and towards others. It may not change or undo the problems the world has but at least it can add some light to it. Thanks for commenting.
