Although what meets the eye needs second-sight

Undoing ill that second-thoughts may show

DEspairing seeker after answers bright.

Much harm is done when wishful thinking mocks

Advancing voice or crystal image which

Unlocks outlook unfortunate or blocks

DEsired outcome grieving heart would stitch.

Most roads rejoin itinerary pre-traced,

As cause and consequence are intertwined,

Use or abuse of options haste waste chased,

DEtermines more than mortal mind may find

Confined within fate's eye-ball wishing well

Creating mirror heaven or hell could spell ...

    Well, I really like this piece, although the background is a bit distracting - it is kind of hard to stay focused with it...

    The title is great, I like how it sums up what the piece is all about, not all metaphorical and all.

    What a very subtle way to give deep advice concerning life's difficult and numerous choices. "Second sights"/"second thoughts"... can they rejoin "itinerary pre-traced" ? If there is a pre-traced itinerary, can we really go wrong ?
    ... Maybe only the roads are more or less difficult... does it mean they all lead, though differently, to a unique destination?...

    The following stanza is eloquent and so meaningful:
    "Much harm is done when wishful thinking mocks
    Advancing voice or crystal image which
    Unlocks outlook unfortunate or blocks
    DEsired outcome grieving heart would stitch."

    Words are here very well chosen amongst beautiful ones...
