He is cute, lovable, very friendly (for his breed).
He greets me every morning and he loves me indeed.
He jumps on Karma,
Plays with Molly,
Barks to Tess, and
Loves me (even though he took my hat and succeded)

Barks to Tess, and

Contest Entry
Taicho was the dog across the street. Like everyone else did at that time, he moved away so somewhere far away...
I actually wrote this when I was a kid and I still have it in a word document =]
I think it was an attempt at a limerick but I cant be certain.
Karma, Molly, and Tess are other dogs.

This is so simple yet certainly captures the authentic voice of the child and how he/she feels about the loss of the neighbour's dog. Technically there's a lot you could do with it, but as it's a piece of your childhood, I'd leave it just as it as as juvenilia becasue its simplicity captures its voice. I will read more of your recent stuff though. Cheers, thanks for sharing.

This is a cute poem about the neighbor's dog, people and pets always move and that sucks sometimes, keep up the wonderful writing, ~Amy
