Prancing over babbling brooks
and dancing with the trees
Feet buried in warm soil
as her hair is swept back by the breeze
In the water just before her
She finds a tiny fish
Spirited and lively
It gives its tail a swish
The wind blows all around her
Bringing down the leaves of gold
Whispers Finly Autumn
A tale left untold

AWE! Autumn is actually the name that Lucian has always wanted for a daughter, but when his brother and sister-in-law had their daughter Jamie took the name as her own. It made Lucian upset for awhile, but his niece is most definitely an Autumn.
Thanks for your entry! -
Very unusual name - Finly Autum; liked the rhythm, rhyme and flow in the lines of this poem and the way you presented it like this.
