She's Gone

I'm not the girl you fell in love with,
She's been long gone for some time now.
I don't know where I lost her at.
But I'm sorry,
I don't know her anymore.
Don't think I ever did.
You fell in love with an image,
And I just couldn't keep up.
Being everything you dreamed and more.
A task at first,
I had no problem with.
But people change,
And we all grow.
For better or worse.
Who knows.
I guess I was for worse.
You hate what I did,
And that's ok.
I'm sure I'd feel the same.
But I'm not the girl you fell in love with,
She's gone...
