Irony exists in everything
For all things living do live,
And everything tries to outlive
All other lives. What is living?
It is only there to prolong death
And for people to pray that God can forgive.
All as I breath my dying breath.

You capture the sense of irony well, although the poem does not follow the formal requirements for the sonnette. Thank you, though, for taking the time and effort to enter the contest. Much appreciated.
