Once I was love's rose
choked off by many thorns.
Searching for sunlight
waltzing slowly, forlorn.
Chasing away nightmares
masquerading barren schemes.
The rose found herself this
gardener planting soft dreams.
He replenished my flowers
obtained within his soul.
Love again in full bloom
whispering moments untold.
His spirit, his passion
genuine as heated fire.
Manifesting pastel bouquets
of honey sweet desires.

The rose, though hardy and strong, can be wilted by neglect and abuse. But, rest easy, the gardener will be here to save you...
I love you,
