My passion and obsession
dash against mad rings
chasing you.
Exclusive in procession
they tight-trail your every clue.
They drink and clink their glasses
in altered split revelry.
Squeeze lines into directives
calls for and forms cavalries.
They twinkle with suspicious desire
hand-in-glove fashion; teasingly
in hot pursuit they don't salute
but, bend ever so pleasingly.
Enraptured authenticity and beyond
yawns flow swimmingly in arms
glowing with magnificence; they shoot
streams of living color bound in charms.
Do you sense stressed mentalities?
sojourning wet river cascades;
they roam fixtures of emotions
straight into outer everglades.
A nightcap they each have
a wrap up of their frosted glass
distorted visions of you sweep them
into a frolic-induced layered past.

a good piece, a nightcap of smiling desire all wrapped up in a card of love that slips into minds with a gentle ease.

I think this is a very passionate poem. I can understand that there is a longing here.
I cant however, see this on a postcard. I dont think it was talking directly to the person you meant it for and the format was more of a poem than a "letter".
You're words are full of feeling, want.. a needing. Very well written poem.

sounds like a reunion of some sorts... I like the words "beyond yawns" ...very metaphorical with twist and turns. LOVE, prettypoetry
