Standing on the precipice;
three inch crimson stilettos
own this sable night.
Each brisk movement,
the slightest nuance of bravado and heat.
Doors open to a Red Sea
of staccato steps,
embracing the joy
of being light
and the hum of eyes
voicing hunger.

lovely color & movement in this, it's very sensual - I esp. like
"the hum of eyes"

Perfect title.... I could see this "red play". Loved the use of "precipice" here, as well as "staccato steps" and the way hunger combines with the idea of "falling". Nicely done - elegantly sensual this one is, Geo.

What a read! This is amazing! I love the part,
"embracing the joy
of being light
and the hum of eyes
voicing hunger."
That is amazing!
Best of luck in this contest!
