Fading in and out
The air around me is so heavy
It reminds me that I exist
For I always feel light
Invisible, unseen
Will I catch no one’s eye?
Spark no one’s interest?
Ignite no fires?
My loneliness compels me drift
To fade
Silence my only friend
My beating heart my only guide
My sleeping soul that hardly thrives
